November 15, 2023, is the auspicious day when Teardown will make its grand entrance into the PlayStation Plus universe, simultaneously gracing other console platforms.

Teardown, the voxel-based destruction game, has already been a success on PC, with over 71,000 overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam.

Earlier this year it was announced for consoles, and Tuxedo Labs CEO Marcus Dawson has confirmed the news, that it will be available on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium memberships from day one.

Dawson also said that they are going to release a series of new missions, maps, vehicles, and other content to Teardown over the next year, along with the game’s first-ever season pass.

Players have to complete the tasks of destroying voxel-based construction using a variety of vehicles and tools in Teardown. The story campaign features 40 levels that challenge players’ creativity and logic. Players are given challenges, such as destroying a specific object or stealing a valuable item, and must use the sandbox environment to their advantage, sometimes against the clock.

CEO Marcus Dawson announced on the PlayStation blog that Teardown will be getting a campaign expansion and new game modes. He said that there will be 40 levels in the campaign that will test players’ creativity and problem-solving skills.

Each level will have a main objective and bonus challenge, players will need to use their tools and weapons to complete them before the time runs out. Teardown will also have a freeform Sandbox Mode where players can explore all unlocked maps without restrictions.

Sandbox Mode will also include Creative Mode, which gives players the chance to build their own structures, sculptures, foliage, and more. They can then destroy their creations if they want.
